Vertical Oriented Centrifugal Chemical Pump
Chemical transfer pump
Thermoplastic casing, up to 450 m³/h

The CGV-S pump series is designed to meet the demand for vertical pumps that can operate without the risk of damage to shaft guide bushings due to abrasive solid particles or dry running.
The carbon steel 42CrMo4 pump shaft, coated with corrosion-resistant thermoplastic, cantilever-mounted and driven by strong bearings housed in a cast-iron intermediate adapter, is connected to the motor by an elastic coupling.
Application
Sea Water, Sulfuric Acid (H2SO4), Hydrochloric Acid (HCl), Sodium Hypochlorite (NaOCl), Nitric Acid (HNO3), Caustic Soda (NaOH), Phosphoric Acid (H3PO4), Ferric Chloride (ZnCl2), etc.
Construction
The parts in contact with the liquid are made of plastic block (PP, PVDF, PEHD), and the gaskets are made of (EPDM, FPM, FFKM).

Construction Material
Chemical transfer pumps are manufactured from materials with high chemical and mechanical resistance such as PP, PE, PVDF, FRP.
PP
PE-UHMW
0/+90 °C
-30/+90 °C
Polypropylene (PP) is a thermoplastic polymer used in a wide variety of applications. It has high mechanical and temperature resistance.
Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE, UHMW).
It provides very high chemical and mechanical resistance.
PVDF
-20/+120 °C
-20/+120 °C
FRP
Polyvinylidene difluoride (PVDF) is a thermoplastic fluoropolymer.
PVDF is a specialty plastic used in applications requiring resistance to solvents, acids and hydrocarbons.
Fiber reinforced plastic (FRP; Fiber reinforced plastic) is a composite material made from a polymer matrix reinforced with fibres.
It is used in processes requiring mechanical and chemical resistance.

Construction

01
Pump body made of high thickness PP, PVDF or PE- UHMW to ensure mechanical strength and chemical resistance.
02
Centrifugal impeller made of PP or PVDF; It offers a semi-open version for particle-laden fluids or a closed version for pumping solutions at high temperatures. Provides axial self-balancing guaranteed by rear counter-blades
03
Thermoplastic pipe.
04
Column made entirely of thermoplastic material.
05
PP plate reinforced with steel.
06
The shaft, made of 42CrMo4 steel, is configured to support torsional and radial forces. It is completely covered with thermoplastic material.
07
Bearing against radial forces.
08
The cast intermediate adapter retains the bearings and elastic coupling and moves the motor away from the rest of the pump.
09
Bearing that guides the shaft and withstands the thrust forces created by the wheel.
10
The elastic coupling is fitted to absorb any axial misalignment and allow removal of the motor without the need to remove the pump.
11
IEC three-phase asynchronous electric motor (NEMA available on request).
